Setup Nova

Let's start setting up our sales pipeline and sign up for Nova.

Creating Automations

An automation is the definition of a lead list.

Here we can setup the requirements our lead needs to fulfill to be a part of the list.

In the Automations tab, click Create.

Specify Conditions

You should be prompted with a form. Here you can enter the name of your list, and conditions a lead must fulfill.

In the example above, we are creating an automation for our Fintech Startups list.

Any "Fintech Statups" lists created will contain leads at companies:

  • With < 100 employees
  • An annual revenue of < $1M
  • Founded after 2020
  • Title of either CEO, CTO, or founder
  • Use NextJS
  • Is funded

Create an automation for each segment of the market you want to target.

Running Automations

All automations are run automatically when a CSV is uploaded or the Nova Extension is used.

Nova will automatically segment the leads to their appropriate list. Any leads that do not meet the requirements of any list will be added to an "Unsegmented Leads" list.

You will get an email once your lists are ready to be downloaded.

Export to Email Automation Platform

You can download all your lists in the "Lists" tab of the dashboard.

The list will be in a CSV format that we will import into campaigns of our Email Automation Platform (Instantly in this case).
