Metrics
Sales is an art and a science. We need to track metrics, and improve to maximize success.
Each of these metrics can be found in the "Analytics" tab of our campaign in Instantly.
Open Rate
The open rate is number of leads that have opened atleast one email in our campaign.
The higher our open rate, the higher the chance of a reply.
Our open rate will be influenced by our subject line, and personalized intro.
If you notice a low open rate iterate on either the subject line or personalized intro. Repeat this process until we get our desired open rate.
Click Rate
The click rate is the number of leads that have clicked atleast one link in our emails.
I generally don't recommend sending links in emails. Due to scammers and security concerns, emails with links are usually filtered out from a lead's inbox by it's organization's email settings.
Reply Rate
The reply rate is the number of leads that have replied to our campaign.
This is an extremely important metric because it measures interest. It can help us determine which segment of the markets to double down on, and which one's to pivot from.
It is influenced by your problem statement, offer, and CTA.
If this is less than 15%, iterate on your email.
This also gives us an estimate on how many leads it will take to get a response. If our response rate is 15%, then 15 out of 100 leads will respond to our email.
